I just talked to Janis and she said they didn't take Emily into surgery until about 30 minutes ago (about 11:30 a.m. Central time). There was still some seepage of blood, but the doctor told them that the organs were all back in place. (They had been displaced by the presence of the blood) So their intent was to go in and clean the area up and discover if something else may have been going on that they weren't aware of. They will let us know as soon as she comes out of surgery and how well things went.

I just talked to your mom and she said you went into surgery about 30 minutes ago. So I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you at this very minute. I'm praying the doctors discover the source of the seepage of blood. And I'm praying your children are well cared for while you're in the hospital. And not just well cared for, but that they have FUN!

By the way, Em...last night, your Uncle Andy told me that every time he thinks of you, he thinks of you in your clown outfit swinging on the swings and singing! ha! He sends his love!

We thank you for your promises of healing, and we claim them for Emily. Please be a light in her body and guide the doctors to the exact place that they need to operate. Give them divine wisdom. Give Luke, Janis, Luke's mom and the kids divine peace and joy. Give Emily strength to get through this operation. We thank You in advance for the miracle You are already doing in her body and spirit! Amen.
