God is so good! He's heard and He's answered. The doctor came in and said that Emily does not have a staph infection. YEA!! They are still going to remove fluid from her abdomen tomorrow and test it for her liver levels, I think.
One of the doctors said that everything is looking good. He told Emily they had changed her antibiotic because your body gets immune to bacteria if you use the same one. So that's the reason she'd been changed to the one that gave her an allergic reaction. I think there were 2-3 doctors there tonight and everyone seems to be in agreement that Emily may be able to go home by the END OF THIS WEEK!! So much good news!!
Janis said Emily was in a much better emotional state after receiving all of this encouraging news. But she has asked us to pray about removing the abdominal fluid---she really hates that procedure.
Psalm 111:4
"He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate."
