You Have Blessed Our Family

We're in awe of how far-reaching the prayer for Emily has spread.  You may notice that we have a "counter" at the bottom of the page to see how many people come by this blog.  As of 10:30 on Thursday evening, 1367 people have come by just today!  This counter also tells us where you are from and gives us a world map, marking the place where you live.  We don't know your names, of course, unless you leave a message.  But it's so encouraging to see the map filled up across the United States and into many foreign countries.  We'd love for you to leave a message, a prayer, or a scripture when you come by.  Or just leave your name and where you live, so that when Emily is well, she can be amazed at how many people dropped by to pray for her!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  You have no idea (unless you've walked in these shoes!) how encouraging that is.  We'd love for you to add Emily to your prayer group's list....and let us know that you have.  We are grateful for your agreement in prayer for Emily's healing.  Don't forget to pray for Luke, her husband, and for their 5 children.
Again....thank you.  You have blessed our family.

hey, i just want you to know that there has been a group praying for emily all week at West Texas A&M and in Missouri at the Kanakuk Bible Institute.
We've been encouraged, and amazed at the power of Prayer, and by God's divine sovreignty, even from this far away. we serve a powerful God, a Living God, an Active God, and the God of All things! Even in tough circumstances!

praying that everyone is having a restful night and they wake refreshed and renewed. I pray that God continues to heal Emily's body overnight...that her kidneys are working perfectly!

Emily,
I've been awake off and on all night praying your kidneys would begin functioning perfectly. About 5:30 a.m., I was trying to think of a Bible verse to agree with...but instead a SONG came to my mind! It's based on scripture and it's kind of funny applied to kidneys, but I'm gonna "sing" it to you anyway. Here goes:

I've got a river of life flowing out of me
Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see
Opens prison doors, sets the captive free
I've got a river of life flowing out of me.
Spring up oh well
Within my soul
Spring up oh well
And make me whole
Spring up oh well
And give to me
A new life...abundantly.

Very appropriate, don't you think?

Blessings to you from Illinois! The story and plea for prayer reached my desktop this morning and I am sending the request for continued prayer on to my Intercessors at River of Life International, Monmouth, Illinois. It is awesome how God knew who to place where and what to have available to the EMT's, hospital, surgeon's, etc. to expedite Emily on her road to FULL recovery. We serve an awesome God! He is Always in Control!
