Emily had a restful day. Since she was having muscle spasms in her back and they had given her medication to relax them, she was "out" most of the day. But she did wake up enough to have soup for lunch and when she woke up this evening, she told Luke she wanted a pizza! So he went and got her a small one and she ate about 1/4 of it---which is really good! I think she'd been up some and seems stronger every time she gets up. They also told them that where the trach had been will heal pretty quickly. Isn't the body amazing? There's just so much to be thankful for!
Please continue praying that her muscle spasms stop and that her strength increases every day!

How exciting! If I had a privat jet I would fly to New York and get you the best pizza in the world. I wonder if they'll deliver. HA! We're praying that God works out the kinks and you get home soon.
