Becky Signing Off

I just want to say what a privilege it has been for me to blog and update you on Emily's progress these past 7 weeks. It's been an amazing journey. On October 29th, a godly woman in Borger, Tx asked me to send this message to Luke:
"When Jesus heard that, He said, 'This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.'" John 11:4 And how true this Word became!

There are so many aspects to Emily's story. Emily will never know the amazing things we saw God do while she was unconscious and how we felt during that time. And we'll never know her struggle and what God has done in her heart through this process. And of course, we'll never know all the ways this has affected Luke, her husband, and the ways it has forever changed him. And then there's Janis, a mother who had to stand by and watch this crisis in her daughter's life and then her own daily struggle. Even though the children are young, I'm sure the older ones will have a story to tell some day. And it's a story that is the beginning of Sarah's life!

I know it's affected me. It's given me a new appreciation for the body of Christ and the unity that God desires so deeply for us. It's been amazing, being the blog-keeper, and seeing and hearing people come together so quickly and so dramatically for every need the Panter family had. Donations were given, meals were brought, children were cared for, prayers were prayed, cards were sent, photos were taken, gifts were given, their house was cleaned, pedicures were given---I could go on and on! THIS is what God intended for us to do and to be like all the time as the body of Christ. And what a beautiful picture for those who were watching to see! I only hope this lesson has gone deep into my soul--into all of our souls.

So...this will be my last blog. I've loved giving you a window into Emily's recovery. I've made some new friends and I have a lasting appreciation for Luke & Emily's friends. You're just some of the best people I know! May God richly bless you for all you've done for them. Just like you, I'll anxiously be waiting to hear from Emily and to know what's going on in her life. This will be my last post since Emily is able to do her own blogging now. Please don't quit praying for her and ministering to Emily and her family.
Blessings!
Becky

Ephesians 2:10 (Amplified)
"For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]."

Thank you, Becky for the amazing and wonderful job you did with writing this blog! It truly was a fantastic commentary on what God was doing with Emily's progress in healing and in expressing needs that the body of Christ could minister to. AND the mighty prayers that were posted were such a spiritual high!! Wow! What a privilege to be able to follow Emily's journey on this blog and be a part of the prayer army. Thank you for such a mighty contribution of your time and thoughts!

I praise our great God, who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were, for His goodness and mercy in restoring Emily and bringing her back to her precious family!

Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Thank you Becky. We understand that you were just one of those that God used to minister to the Panter's, in their time of need. I am sure that all of us who have read the blog, can say how much we appreciate what You did to try to keep all informed with the most accurate information that you had at your disposal. I also agree that the out pouring of love is only what God expects from his children in any instance that we are exposed to. May God receive all glory for every effort put forth in his name, through this time of growth and faith.

I too want to say thank you. I feel like I know Emily and her family. We may never get the chance to meet on earth, but I feel like their family has become our family. Becky, thanks for letting us know specifically how we could be praying. You did a great job.

Luke and Emily, we will continue to pray for you and your family. You have inspired our family. We have seen God do amazing things in your lives. Thank you for allowing us to share a small part of your journey.

Becky:
Only He knows the wonders you have performed in the past months! I can speak in a somewhat different situation then most - Emily is one of my FAVORITE grandaughters and living in far East Texas (nacogdoches)your blogs were my daily news bulletins on her daily struggles. And it kept me updated on her mother, Janis, my oldest daughter after her cell phone timed out on us. After working for the same computer company for 43 years and retiring in 1985, I never dreamed such benefits would be mine through the computer. THANKS won't really cover it, of course, but I hope you really know how much you have meant to all of us through your daily input. May God bless you three fold for this good deed!

Becky,
Thank you so much for taking this on as a way to minister to Luke and Emily and the rest of us blog readers. Without this blog, there are so many people who wouldn't have known how to follow the miracles of these last couple of months. I even think it brought our family closer together. And it strengthened our need to pray for our family. I can't wait to see what Emily posts herself! Love you!
