PRAISE OUR WONDERFUL GOD! This is Charles Mayo, a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville and a retired(?) music minister. I led services at your church last month when Dr. Wilson preached. Gloria and I have been praying for you ever since, along with our Senior Adults at Ridgecrest and all 160 of my fellow members of the Singing Men of North Central Texas! We are all so happy that God has healed you to this point and you are going home with your family. We will continue to watch this site and pray for your complete recovery. Let us know if we can help you any time!

My name is Tanya Brand and my husband and I have been friends with Luke and Emily since college. I just wanted to let everyone know what has been going on over on our end as we prayed for Emily. When I first learned of what had happened, it was the day before our first adult choir practice for our Christmas program called Hope Has Come. That first night I told our choir about Emily and we began praying. For weeks we have met each Wednesday night and I have been giving updates on Emily's condition and we continued to pray. Now Emily is going home! And our choir program is next week. I cannot help but think that God has brought us(and I do mean all of us) on this journey for a very specific reason. As we prayed for Emily we were singing "Jesus has come our HOPE is in sight!" Praise the Lord for the hope that only He can bring. And praise Him for the Healing that He has brought for Emily!

I am so happy to hear you were allowed to go home today. God is so amazing. You have been through a journey that very few people get the chance to share. You are a miracle from God. We love you and can't we can't wait to see you. If you need anything, please call.

Emily,
We're THRILLED that you are HOME!!!! Don't get frustrated with yourself. Take things slow and easy. And give yourself grace. I know you're going to want to do more than you're supposed to do---but don't! Enjoy this Christmas where you're able to sit back and enjoy and be pampered!!! It won't come your way again!

Yeah, I am so glad! What a gift that you could come home so soon after Janis went home! Now no one has to be in 2 places at once! We will be calling you on Christmas so be prepared! I am sure the cousins and grandkids will want to talk to each other! What an answer to prayer, you can celebrate Lily's birthday at home! We love and miss you!

He is the giver and sustainer of life and He continues to hold this faithful family in His powerful hands.Luke and Emily, the Lord has answered you in your distress, set you free and put you in a large place (Ps.118:5). Your audience for witness now is unimaginable! We love you and are still praying for you both.
