Can You Help?

I know Luke & Janis would never ask for this help...but I see these as a need.

Need #1:
Luke is driving their van to the hospital each day. It's about a 45 minute drive each way. That leaves Janis without a vehicle---with 5 children. I know she probably wouldn't get out much, but I just can't imagine being without a car in case of an emergency. And I'm sure there's going to be times when people will be there to help with the kids when Janis could leave for a bit...if she had a vehicle. In fact, if someone has a car that gets good gas mileage and wouldn't mind Luke driving that, Janis could have the van with all the car seats at her disposal. Does anyone have an extra vehicle they could use?

Need #2:
Luke & Emily have 9 oak trees in their yard and LOTS of fallen leaves. Is there someone who could rake and bag leaves for them?

Need #3:
The Panters have a large freezer. If you would like to bring kid-friendly breakfast & lunch foods for them, that would help Janis so much. Here are some things Luke told me they do like: Lunchables, chicken nuggets, individual-sized pizzas, hot dogs, waffles, pop tarts. I'm sure anything you know that kids like would be appreciated! He did say they have plenty of "snack" foods. Please remember the family won't be back home until Sunday night.

Need #4:
If you sign up to help with meals, housecleaning, etc. on our CALENDAR to your right....would you please leave your name & email address in case of a change of plans? That would be a big help!

You can contact me at emily.panter05@gmail.com--or leave a comment below--if you can help with any of these needs. Like I've said over and over, Luke & Emily have wonderful friends. We appreciate all you're doing more than you could ever know!
Thank you.

Hello - the members of Luke's church, Bridgeview Baptist, will rake and bag leaves starting at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 15. Thank you so much for keeping us all posted and making us aware of the needs of the family.

God bless,
