Two Weeks

As I thought about this post this morning, I wanted to start off by praising God for all He has done in the past two weeks. Please add your comments below of things you're praising Him for!
*He saved Emily's life
*He went ahead of Emily that night two weeks ago and prepared the way
*Blood was waiting on her when she got to the hospital
*The best surgeons and nurses were waiting on her at Baylor Medical
*Janis was there to help with the children because of the birth of Sarah
*People have surrounded the Panters with help and love
*Gifts have been given to offset the needs of the family
*Emily continues to make progress--even though it may not be at our pace
*Emily has concerned medical staff that are looking out for her best interest
*God continues raising up the help that is needed
*Hundreds, maybe thousands, of people are praying--from all over the world!
*God's is being magnified and glorified through Emily's life

I talked to Luke this morning and he said the doctors were not impressed with the blood test results. Her kidneys aren't cleaning her blood like they need to. So they're going to put her on the 3 hour dialysis today. Emily has been anxious, so they've given her some medicine to calm her. Luke also left the headphones on her so she could listen to praise music. Luke said it's another Wait & See Day! So we'll pray as we wait....

Jeremiah 32:17
"Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you."

Father, praise your Holy name that you are watching over this family. That you have encouraged many, many of your children by the things you have done in the last two weeks for the Panter family. Thank you for showing us your love and power in Emily's life. Our world seems so sad right now and you, my Awesome God, have given your children new hope that you are here making us aware of your presence. Thank your for your love, power and peace in the Panter family. Praise you for what you are doing behind the scenes in Emily's life. I love you God and I know you love Emily.......praise you for healing her body. Praise your name for Your Will....may I wait just like many other's are waiting to see your next miracle in the Panter family.
Jeremiah 33:3: I claim this verse for the Panter family today. Call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things you know not of."

Father God, who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were, I thank you for giving back life to Emily and for the healing that is taking place in her lungs and kidneys during this season of recuperation. Thank you, Jehovah-Rophe, for your total healing of Emily's body!

I pray, Abba Father, that by your Spirit that testifies with Emily's spirit, she is experiencing peace and fellowship with You during this recovery time. I pray that she would not fear the terror of the night, but would know that You are with her in this time of trouble, that You are delivering her and that You will satisfy her with long life.

Thank you, Lord God Almighty, that You are using this for your Glory!

Em,

As I was putting the boys to bed tonight, I began singing a song that turned into a prayer over you. You know it, but it's old, so you may have not heard it in a while. It's Your Beloved.

Lord it is you who
Created the Heavens
Lord it is your hand
That put the stars in their place

Lord it is your voice
That commands the morning
Even oceans and their waves
Will bow at your feet

Lord who am I
Compared to your glory?
Lord who am I
Compared to your majesty?

I am Your Beloved
Your creation a
And you love me as I am
You have called me chosen
For your kingdom
Unashamed to call me your own
I am your beloved.

Jesus,

Thank you that you are the one who spins the entire universe, yet you love us. You spoke and everything that is came into being. The oceans and their waves bow at your feet. All of your creation worships you, Jesus. Speak life and healing into Emily's body now,Lord Jesus. Restore her, love her, refresh her, bring peace to her, envelope her, sustain her, rescue her, draw near to her, be everything that she needs, God. Recreate perfection in her body tonight Lord Jesus..would you please? We love you and thank you for everything you've done to this point and I ask you to please please bring it to completion, Lord. Relax the muscles in Em's back and bring relief to her soreness there, Lord. Heal the sores in her mouth. Relieve the swelling and the discomfort that causes. Be with Emily in every little detail of her need, Jesus! We love you for it! Give Janis supernatural strength. Give her patience to love scared babies...even when they act out by being hyper. Multiply her rest during the hours when she does get sleep, Lord. Guard against sleep deprivation..that she will be equopped for everything you're calling her to be right now. Send help at the perfect times, Lord. Encourage her that her baby will be OK, Jesus. Be her defender and the lifter of her weary head,God. I pray that the kids would act better than they've ever been for her. That they would be obedient and loving. That they would sleep easily and all the way through the night. That you would bring peace to them...to the entire household. Surround that house with your angels to guard every window and door and thwart any scheme of the enemy to come in on this time. Surround them with your presence and invade that house,Lord. We love you! AMEN!
