Good News!

Janis just called with an update---and it's all good news!
They are going to pull the I.V. for dialysis. So I'm assuming that means they don't expect to do anymore dialysis---which means her kidneys are functioning! Thank you, Lord!
They're going to put a "cap" on her tracheotomy so that she can begin talking that way. There is a process for removing the trach, and this is part of that process. Thank you again, Lord!
They're going to do a test to see if she can swallow food. Pray she passes!!

Matthew 15:31
"The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel."

THANK YOU JESUS!!! You give us reason to live and breathe and move and we rejoice in you! Thank you for healing our precious Emily....we are forever grateful! I pray that the trach cap works well and that the stupid tube can come out so soon,Jesus! I ask you to continue the work that you've begun in her kidneys and allow her to swallow solid food. I know she's so ready to eat some real food and drink a GIANT SONIC COKE!:) Provide it Lord Jesus. You know the desires of our hearts and of Emily's and I ask you to give us those as we delight in you,Lord. You are so good. We have so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...thank you for those, God! We delight in you!:)

This is amazing news! Each week at BSF the ladies in my group have prayed and marveled to see God's work in Emily! I can't wait to share this wonderful news with them. We rejoice in God our Savior, who is our healer and our strength. HE IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!
