Thursday Morning

Luke called me with an update on Emily this morning. Emily is in acute liver & kidney failure---NOT chronic liver & kidney failure. This is serious, but they are treating her with dialysis. This is the reason her liver was swollen, but the cat scan showed nothing else amiss.
Please join me in praying and fasting for Emily today.
Please do not call Luke or Janis (at the house). Luke may be in with Emily and Janis may be changing a diaper! We promise to update the blog as often as we have any new news!!

2 Thessalonians 1:12
"We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Our house is praying for your family Luke: for God to physically heal Emily, for God's sustaining grace in an incredibly wearisome and worrisome ordeal, for God's peace and love to abound in all your hearts, for monetary help in what is sure to be an expensive hospital stay, and also that he might use your faith in the midst of this to bring glory to His name by your example in difficulty and that doctors, nurses, friends, readers of this blog might be amazed, even prompted to ask for the reason for the hope that you have within you.

Truly, grace and peace be to you,

Aaron Mayfield

Lord, we know you are hearing our prayers. I claim your promises for Emily today, your promises to heal, restore and redeem. I speak YOUR life into her kidneys! I pray peace over her, Luke, Janis, and the rest of their precious family. Oh Lord, you are mighty; there is NOTHING you can't do. Please heal Emily today. In Jesus' name,
Amen

I will be praying for your family. I, myself suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm almost a year ago. I have six children and so I can very much feel your anxiety and sorrow. I will also put Emily's name on a prayer group. If you need someone to talk to, I'm more than willing to offer a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on!

I am an old friend of Kim's, and I am praying for a full and swift recovery for Emily as well as comfort, strength, and wisdom for Luke and the kids, as well as their entire family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I am checking the updates often.

God's Many Blessings on you,
