Water in Dry Places

Habakkuk 3:9-10

"With rivers You cleaved the earth [bringing forth waters in dry places].  The mountains saw You; they trembled and writhed [as if in pain]. The overflowing of the water passed by [as at the deluge]; the deep uttered its voice and lifted its hands on high."

I read this verse this morning and the Holy Spirit quickened my heart.  If God can do this for mountains, I know He can do it for Emily's kidneys.

Father, would you bring forth water in dry places in Emily's body--without the writhing in pain part?    In Jesus' name, Amen.

Hi Amy,

I missed seeing you yesterday – but wanted you to know that our family is continuing to pray for Emily. I check her blog each morning for an update and pray for her specific needs that day.

I wanted to let everyone know that Hannah and Noah are proof of the importance of teaching faith when our children are young. They rode to school with me this morning and their only thought was the excitement of getting to come to the high school and see my room. It isn't just because they are children that they seemed so calm. It is because they are growing up in a family and church with such strong faith. Chidren sense every emotion...and they are sensing the complete belief that mom will be cared for by God. What a wonderful job Emily and Luke have done.
