Janis

As I've prayed throughout the day today, the Lord keeps laying Janis on my heart. Though she would never speak it for fear of taking prayer attention off of Emily, she is beyond exhausted and suffering from sleep deprivation. As I was thinking back today on this whole chain of events, I just began to realize what a traumatic time it's been for Janis to see her baby girl going through all of this. The fact that she came to Quinlan expecting to get to spend some precious time with her daughter and new grandbaby and then, 40 minutes after arriving, found Emily unconcious and then had to be the one to defend her grandchildren while the whole ordeal with the ambulance was taking place. Then immediately after the initial trauma, she began taking care of her 5 grandchildren, which includes round the clock baby feedings and when she's not doing that, she's taking care of Emily and getting limited to NO sleep. She has been such a trooper to just thrust herself into the situation and just do what needs to be done, but I'm worried that without rest, she may get sick. Would you please join me in praying for SUPERNATURAL strength, multiplied rest and protection against illness. Also, that she would be able to find time to put everything aside and genuinely rest. I know so many of you who read the blog are friends of hers and I think it would be good and refreshing to her spirit if maybe we could post the prayers that we're praying over her. Thank you all for loving our family...there just aren't words to express our gratitude.

Jesus,

Be near to Janis now as she pours herself out over Emily, Lord. Speak your restful peace over her and allow her to feel you so near. God I pray that the recliner in ICU would feel like themost comfortable bed she's ever slept in tonight and that you would do a miracle and block out the noise from ICU. I pray that that place would be the most blissful placein Dallas to rest tonight. Send your Spirit there to draw both Janis and Emily into deep sleep,God. Allow them to sleep through the night until morning with sweet dreams....entertaining dreams that they will never want to forget, Jesus. Protect Janis from illness in Jesus' name and bring triple portions of your refreshing tonight. In Jesus' sweet name!

Lord, I am praying that you will be with Janis and let her get the refreshing rest that she needs, even in the midst of the storm. Continue to hold her and Emily and all of this precious family in your arms.

Thank you so much for your prayer requests today for Janis. Each time I talk with her (DAILY..before avlble time on Cell ran out)I would SERIOUSLY ask her about HER health. She is my daughter and I worry about her pushing it too far, concerned more about her only daughter and the five grand-babies that are her sole responsibility. All of you are in my daily prayers, including the three great-grandkids that are your three boys. THANKS A MILLION

Father,
Relieve Janis to go and rest where it's quiet and peaceful. Guard her health. Protect her.

Janis, Like Holly, we don't know each other, but I too have been faithfully following this blog, and my family and I have been fervently praying for your family. I pray that God gives you strength and comfort during this CRAZY time, and that you are able to get the rest you need to stay on your feet and chase all of those sweet babies! God's many blessings.
