A small favor

WOW!!! What an incredible day! It's so good to hear some positive news for a change. It's amazing to me the difference I saw in Em today. She was so calm and peaceful...so at ease while I was there. I am thoroughly convinced it was the fact that she had been listening to the WORD being sung over her all night and through the morning. What a difference the WORD makes in our lives...it is life giving. Please join me in praying tonight that the Lord would allow Emily to hear His heart of love for her as she listens to the songs Luke has chosen for her to hear. I'm just praying that she would have such an intensely intimate time with the Lord...that in His presence all of the physical pain would go away and that she could just draw into her healer and find rest.

I'm needing to ask a small favor. I am wanting to send Janis to get her toes done one afternoon next week and I'm needing to find a couple of people who would be willing to watch the kiddos while she does that. I know Luke is wanting them to be with people they know well and are comfortable with. If you feel like you have this rapport with them and would be available to help me out with this one afternoon, would you please leave me a comment or call me at 972-922-2793. Also, one of the major needs we are facing is the need for childcare during the day. Janis kept the kids last week, but we would love to free her up to be at the hospital with Emily. We've made arrangements for Hannah and Noah to get to and from school, so the real need is from about 8:00-6:00. I realize this is a lot for one person, but maybe two or three friends could get together or split it up. Obviously, we want to keep some continuity for the kiddos, but we need to free up Janis, too. Please contact me if you think you could help out with this. Thanks so much for all of your love and prayers....we feel it. We have been blessed beyond comprehension by the outpouring of love from friends and total strangers. Thanks for loving us, but more importantly, thanks for loving Emily.

For His Glory,

Kim Dietz (Emily's sister-in-law)

Wis I was there to help out but I will pray that some people come forward who can help with daily child care so Janis can go to the hospital more.

Well, I know the Panters from FBC Greenville, TX. I grew up in that church. My sister and brother-in-law actually rent their old house in Greenville. The funny thing is I now live in Albuquerque, NM. I know Emily's parents live somewhere near here. It's such a small world. Anyway, Emily and Luke have been on my heart and in my thoughts and prayers. I just wanted to let ya'll know that I have asked my singles class at Hoffmantown church here in Albuquerque to pray for Emily and Luke and their family. Yes thank the Lord for technology. I like being able to look on here and see how Emily is doing. I am glad that she is improving. She will have an amazing story to tell of the miracles the Lord has done for her during this time. It's just amazing to read about on here and I can't imagine how amazing it is for all of you who are there for it. Well, you are all in my prayers as you are living through this.
